Having worked in a variety of clays over the years, I have come to appreciate those that do not require firing.  Apart from the ease and immediacy of the medium, I find that these best serve the fine detail required in the smaller pieces I enjoy sculpting.  They also allow me to include my own fused and torched glass elements, glass windows, semi-precious stones and metals, and other embellishments that kiln firing eliminates.  The gallery below features my latest series based on the inspiration of birds.

When I discovered the art of torched and fused glass, wire wrapping and precious metal sculpting is when I became a jewelry fan.  I love designing one of a kind pieces for women that enjoy wearing a bit of whimsy.
