I work as both a professional artist and educator. Much of my time and energy goes into the arena of advocacy and non-profit work benefiting women and families affected by abuse. Below I have listed my training, licenses and certifications in the alternative healing arena, as well as some of my artistic awards and publications that have featured my work.

Publications:
Spirit in the Smokies magazine featured my paintings on five of their magazine covers.
The book and CD cover, Dancing With the Universe featured my artwork.
My 'Snapshot Art-quilts' were recently featured in two Lark Books publications entitled, Pretty Little Mini Quilts.
My digital art and art-quilts are featured along with an interview about my creative process in the fourth issue of Indie Arts DVD Magazine.
Three of my quilts from the 'I Remember Mama' exhibit are featured in the book by the same title.
My Art-quilt entitled Mermaid was featured in this issue of Quilting Arts magazine.
A group quilt that I initiated and created with the Austin art-quilt group is featured in this third volume from the series Lone Stars; A Legacy of Texas Quilts.
